New Volunteer Opportunities

Suncoast Mental Health Center is proud to announce we are initiating a new “Suncoast Angels” volunteer group. We will be having an informational meeting on the last Wednesday of the month at 5:15 pm at our Vero Beach office.

Suncoast is proud of helping children and families on the Treasure Coast since 1998. Suncoast provides best-practice and research-based assessment, counseling, and supportive services.

All are welcome to come and find out what opportunities are available for you to help our children and families and join our new “Suncoast Angels” group.

For more information please contact Deborah Pizzimenti at 772-291-3210, or at  DPizzimenti@smhcinc.org

Vote! - Act Grant a Community Thrives

Pat Savino, a member of our Board of Directors has submitted a grant request to USA Today.

Help us offer critical mental health first aid in our community by voting for our video in the ACT USA Today video contest.  BOD Member Pat Savino put together this useful resource to create greater awareness for mental health where we live.  Mental health funding is at a low; increasing grant dollars to community mental health programs will allow teachers and those on the front lines with our kids to have the tools they need to identify symptoms early, allowing kids to lead healthy, productive lives.  Vote for “Stop the Stigma” every day until May 10.  Thanks Pat!
